Prices are set by city, based on the recent traffic and ticket interest we see there, so promotion stays good value wherever your event is. These are introductory trial prices, and we review them regularly as our audience grows.

Event promotion questions

Is listing an event on whatnightout free?

Yes. You can submit an event for review without buying promotion. Paid promotion is optional and changes where an approved event appears across relevant discovery pages.

Where does a promoted event appear?

An eligible promoted event can appear in its city feature, on matching genre and event-type pages, and as the first sponsored result beside genuinely related events.

What does event promotion cost?

Introductory promotion prices depend on the city. In London, Manchester and Birmingham, it costs £35 for one week or £60 for two weeks. In Nottingham, Liverpool, Bristol and Leicester, it costs £19 for one week or £29 for two weeks. In Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Southampton, Sheffield, Cardiff, Brighton and Exeter, it costs £15 for one week or £20 for two weeks. No VAT is currently charged, and there is no subscription.

Can I keep my existing ticket provider?

Yes. Your existing ticket or event link stays attached to the listing. Promotion improves discovery on whatnightout; it does not replace your ticketing setup.
