Where will my event appear in Southampton?

Placement follows the genres and event types already attached to your approved listing. We do not add unrelated tags just to buy extra reach; matching the right audience is more useful for everyone.
What does the reporting include?
We measure featured impressions, event-card clicks, event-detail views and outbound ticket-link clicks. We will send you a detailed performance report after each promoted period ends.
Can I see your audience figures before booking?
Yes. Because whatnightout is growing quickly, we do not leave an old audience number fixed on this page. Ask us for our latest available weekly reach, relevant city-level traffic and an example of the campaign reporting before you book.
How much does promotion cost?
During our introductory trial period, promotion costs £29 for one week or £50 for two weeks. No VAT is currently charged, so these are the total campaign prices. Both options include the full placement and campaign report, with no subscription. Contact us if you are promoting multiple events or need a package for a promoter, venue or group.
Does my event need to be listed first?
Yes. Promotion is applied to a live whatnightout event page. If the event is not listed yet, submit it for review first and include the submission details in your promotion request.
Is a promoted event clearly labelled?
Yes. Paid placements are labelled Sponsored. Promotion changes where an eligible event appears; it does not disguise advertising or alter the event details.
