About
Steve Edwards has spent more than three decades at the forefront of global electronic music, collaborating with some of the world’s finest DJs and producers.
His unmistakable voice has powered international dance anthems including Bob Sinclar’s “World, Hold On,” Cassius’ “The Sound of Violence”, Axwell’s “Watch the Sunrise”, L’Tric’s “This Feeling” and Chicane’s “Carry Me Home”.
With four US Billboard Dance Club No.1s, two Grammy nominations, a World Music Award and multi-platinum selling records, Steve’s music has reached audiences across the globe.
Steve continues to evolve his sound through his brand new House & Home concept which reimagines some of his club classics, performed with a world class live band, taking in jazz, soul, hip hop & dub whilst still bringing the energy of the dance floor together with the emotion of a truly great live performer. We are delighted that Steve will be taking the show to Footprints Jazz Club.
On support, Khamra is a Sheffield-born collective blending funk, soul, and jazz into a sound that’s all about groove. Formed while studying at university, the band quickly found their footing in the city’s vibrant live music scene, building a reputation for tight musicianship, infectious energy, and a natural chemistry that only comes from countless hours playing together.
We gratefully acknowledge Jazz North's New Northern scheme in supporting this gig.
