We are back! And we are so happy to announce the 5th edition of Dusk. We’ve got a very special lineup for this one, showcasing some more experimental electronics and live instrumentation. We’re bringing the amazing Cinna Peyghamy, Detraex Corp and Psyclo to Peckham, for our first time at Vespers.
Cinna Peyghamy is a Paris-based musician and sound artist whose work brings his Persian musical heritage into dialogue with experimental electronics. Combining the physical rhythms of the tombak with modular synthesis, digital processing and improvised sound, his music moves fluidly between acoustic and electronic worlds. His debut album, Music For Tombak & Synth, marks the first time he brings together his identities as a live performer and studio producer, a deeply personal work shaped by memory, family and his Iranian roots. We’re incredibly excited to experience it with you.
Detraex Corp is the project of Rome-based producer and DJ Giovanni Civitenga, exploring experimental dub through sampling, found sounds and fragmented rhythms. His music draws on the weight and space of dub while pushing it into a hazier, more psychedelic and abstract territory. His latest album, Live at Pompeii, brings these elements together in a deeply textural and unpredictable form.
We’re also very lucky to have our very own Psyclo bless the stage once again. Chloe combines heavy electronics with her ethereal violin, moving between delicate, atmospheric moments which contrasts with the overall darker, more intense sound. Always special to experience live, we can’t wait to see what she will bring this time around.
See you all there!
