About Grime / drill

Grime emerged from East London in the early 2000s — rapid-fire MCs over aggressive electronic beats at 140 BPM. Drill arrived later, borrowing from Chicago's scene and adding UK-specific flows and production. Both genres are rooted in street culture and have a raw energy that translates into intense live shows.
