Orange Room w/ Aquamarine [Wet Dreamz]

Welcome to our 5th instalment at Gut Level and 14th overall. For this occasion, we’ve invited Aquamarine (she/her), a US-born, London-based DJ, whose sound explores flow states, mystical realms, and the powers of the dance floor to invite surrender, sensuality, and transcendence. Her club sets pulsate with layered grooves that journey through sonic currents of 90s and early 00s percussive prog, swirling psychedelia, ethereal trance, kaleidoscopic techno, and beyond. In the chill-out room, she crafts enthralling ambient and downtempo soundscapes channeling the tranquility of quiet seas.

With recent appearances including Sub:System, Sliver, Riposte, Body Movements, Warm Up, Dalston Superstore, and Sauna Social Club, she is making waves throughout London’s underground and beyond. As mama mermaid of Wet Dreamz, she carries a dedication to uplifting FLINTA* artistic voices across sonic and visual worlds. Paying homage to our queer POC rave ancestors, Wet Dreamz envisions rave spaces as hazy underwater havens for creativity, connection, and ecstatic release.
