Blending synth-driven new wave with sharp observational storytelling, The Welsh JohnMOuse has built a reputation for unpredictable, high-energy live performances —moving between humour, melancholy and something altogether more surreal.
The forthcoming material, produced by Sweet Baboo, continues the sonic shift heard onBack to the Clubhouse, leaning further into cinematic textures, motorik rhythms andoff-kilter pop structures. New work is expected throughout 2026, with collaborationsincluding Gruff Rhys and Miki Berenyi.
Live, The Welsh John MOuse operates as a solo performer — combining synth, backingtracks and a commanding stage presence that has seen him play to audiences rangingfrom intimate 100-cap rooms to major festival stages including Green Man.
