About Trance
Trance is built on euphoric melodies, building synth pads, and a driving tempo around 130-150 BPM. It peaked commercially in the late 90s and early 2000s but never went away — the scene just moved underground and kept going. Modern trance ranges from progressive and melodic to psy-trance and uplifting.
