Top Floor presents: Pangaea, Mac Seldom, Murta

Top Floor brings one of UK club music’s most respected names to the Bigg Market.

Pangaea co-founded Hessle Audio with Ben UFO and Pearson Sound, and the label has shaped British club music for well over a decade. His sets move freely between techno, bass, house and broken rhythms. They’re unpredictable, built for the dance floor, and played by someone who has spent years at the leading edge of the sound.

Joining him is Mac Seldom, a Newcastle-based producer who comes to the dance floor from an unusual direction. He spent close to ten years scoring films in Berlin, London and LA before turning that sound design craft to club music. He has releases on Of Unsound Mind and Scuba’s Hotflush, ranging from syncopated two-step to heavy left-field house, and has already drawn praise from Caribou, Skream and Scuba himself.

Murta holds it down on home turf. He has spent over a decade at the centre of the North East’s electronic scene, and he’ll set the tone early and keep the room locked in.
