About UK garage

UK garage emerged in the mid-90s as a distinctly British take on American garage house, adding skippy 2-step rhythms, pitched-up vocals, and rolling basslines. It spawned grime and dubstep before coming back around as a genre in its own right. UKG nights are usually high-energy with an emphasis on groove and vocals.
