DBT. presents TIJN, Sedds, Arnie, DJ Bz & Doogi — Friday 6th November, @thecutnewcastle

Energy is still high after our Halloween party at Top Floor, and now things are about to get headzy as we move on to this Friday at The Cut. We’re bringing together a roster of the North East’s finest underground selectors, and we can’t wait to hear it all through the venue’s Martin Audio sound system.

For our inaugural party at The Cut, we are delighted to welcome down @tijn_aka_the_wizzard . A highly respected producer and DJ, he has been producing records since 2007, His releases have appeared on labels including Nervous Records NYC & Rawax alongside the running of vinyl labels OGE Curtea Veche plus many more, His sound moves fluidly from electro to minimal and everything in between, and it's an honour to have him take charge of the booth.

Joining him is @sedds.toasted , founder of Toasted and a good friend of the DBT crew, playing an hour-long set. Leaning into the more minimal end of the spectrum, Sedds is known for a keen ear and a deep appreciation of high quality underground music. Toasted has built a strong reputation within the UK underground scene, welcoming names such as DJ Senc, E.Lina, Edward, Cap and Hamish & Toby.

DBT resident and veteran Newcastle DJ @arnie_otd brings a knowledgeable selection of deep house, minimal and dub techno.

Completing the lineup, DBT founders and residents @dj_bz.dbt & @doogi_dbt will set the tone once again after their lovely warm up on Saturday, with considered selections drawing on influences from all corners of the musical spectrum. It’s also DJ Bz’s birthday, so expect a proper celebration

A lineup of this calibre, an intimate room and a first-class sound system make for a night dedicated to quality underground music. We look forward to seeing you on the dancefloor.
