"Rikas, a group of childhood friends, have been in forward motion with each other for 10years. At their upcoming Europe spanning tour „Dog Days“ Rikas want to celebrate the spiritof their early days, playing selected venues that played an important role on their journey.Dog Days are the hot days of the year and Rikas are named after one of the band membersfamily dog - reason enough to embrace that mission. All started with their 2018 debut EP„Swabian Samba“. The following years Rikas have built a loyal following around their brisk,easygoing harmonies, anthemic choruses, and egalitarian style, where every membercontributes equally to songwriting and shares the spotlight both in the studio and on stage.Following their warm and inviting 2019 debut album, Showtime, and two interim EPs (2021’sShort Stories and 2022’s Goodbye Sunshine), Rikas became a live phenomenon in Germanyand word started spreading across the borders.
