Warmth presents: DJ Spinn, James Massiah, DJ GAWAD, Nihal + more

Warmth returns to Ormside Projects with another special lineup, bringing together artists from across Chicago, London and beyond.

Leading the night is Chicago footwork pioneer DJ Spinn, co-founder of the legendary Teklife collective alongside the late DJ Rashad. With decades spent pushing footwork from Chicago's dancefloors to the global underground, Spinn's approach remains as energetic and forward-thinking as ever.

Joining him is James Massiah, the South London poet, producer, DJ and NTS resident whose work moves fluidly between music, spoken word and wider creative practice. A longstanding presence within London's underground, Massiah also operates as DJ Escrow, his alias within Dean Blunt’s ongoing Babyfather project.

DJ GAWAD, the Jordanian producer and part of Drowned By Locals Record Label, joins us fresh from his recent Contact High project with James Massiah, bringing his own take on the evolving relationship between rap and club music.

Rounding out the lineup is writer, researcher & NTS Radio host Nihal, producer split lip and Warmth residents VIRI$$ and Ab.Diablo.

Built around connections rather than genre, this is another Warmth night about bringing different sounds, scenes and people into the same room. Come for the music, stay for the dance.
