BROADWAY meets SOUL SYSTEM - Streetsoul, Raregroove & Revival Selections
Broadway were pioneers in shaping the street soul scene, they dominated the blues dances and community events in Moss Side and Gooch, as well as pirate radio - bridging the gap between traditional Sound System culture and Raregroove soundclub scene of the time
Their legacy lives on today and their sound has developed, broadcasting on NTS radio and running dances still. There’s plenty of Soundtapes for you to sink your teeth into, and they feature heavily in the Death Is Not The End tape ‘All Bad Boy & All Good Girl’
We’ll be running alongside, representing the sound that swept the scene down here, and it’s all on vinyl. We’ll have a special guest our end too which we’ll announce soon
