Hoxton Cabal: sima k, Benebe, Josh Hurst (Vinyl Only)

For October's Cabal, we are joined by Netherlands-based sima k, an eclectic selector who knows just how to move a crowd in a cost red-lit basement, along with Cabal resident, Benebe, and local legend Josh Hurst.

sima k is an Amsterdam-based DJ you’ll find popping up in many places - working within production teams, crafting stages, digging deep, and steadily building the warm community around her that she loves most about the scene. Coming from a Slavic background, she grew up in a musical household: playing piano, jamming, and making mixtapes - all of which shaped her musical curiosity.

A dedicated digger, sima k doesn’t define herself by one genre, drawing inspiration from minimal, deep house and UK sounds, she shares her collection with a lightness that feels like she’s been doing this forever - curious, playful, and warm. With a residency at GIMIC in Brussels and a growing network across Amsterdam and London, that same sense of community keeps expanding wherever she plays.

Friend of the Cabal, Josh Hurst, joins with a fresh bag of deep, groovy house, often with an acidic twist, as he transitions over from the evil USBs to the more enlightened wax. We really enjoy his Love Will Save the Day Radio show and we can't wait to hear what Josh has to bring to our beloved red-lit basement.
