helm presents 001 : M2C & Samuel Organ

we are excited to launch our in-house event series; a regular intimate show presenting new music from artists within our eco-system.

for our inaugural show we invite;

M2C is the latest project from composer and Speakers Corner Quartet member Raven Bush, situating itself at the intersection of strings, modular synthesis and field recording.

The work traces the unstable frictions between acoustic and electronic intonation, drawing analogies with weather systems and environmental drift. M2C is grounded in self-enquiry and time spent outdoors, filtering lived experience into a practice that is both meditative and process-oriented.

Samuel Organ is an artist, composer and producer based on the south coast of England. His work focuses on a blend between organic instruments and electronic music, exploring British folk, classical and experimental music, with themes around the natural world at the core of all his projects.
