Redd Ophis
Redd Ophis’ connection to rhythm began with 15 years as a competitive Irish dancer, shaping her instinct for timing and groove. Outside of competitions, her teenage years were spent discovering electronic music—burning CDs for classmates under the name ‘DJ T-NICE’.
After moving to London she found her place behind the decks, known for energetic, emotive sets, and supporting artists such as Blanka, GiGi FM, Setaoc Mass, Maedon, Arnaud Le Texier and more. She founded Synthapise, supporting charities through music, co-founded LGBTQIA+ collective Kollektiv Affair - later representing the group at Fabric, and holds a monthly residency with AAJA radio, featuring emerging artists.
The name Redd Ophis reflects her ethos: “Redd” draws from the grounding root-chakra colour, while “Ophis” references Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer of the forgotten 13th zodiac—a symbol of transformation. Together, meaning “red snake,” it represents rooted in purpose, endlessly shedding, shifting, and transforming—both in life and in sound.
