There are some people we keep inviting back for DeepDig, and Stu Clark from WOLF Music is back for his third outing at Grow, stepping up for an extended 5-hour set going until 3am.

For us, WOLF Music is one of those labels that really means something. Founded in 2009 by Stu Clark and Matt Neale, it has become a proper home for house music in the deepest sense: dusty, warm, soulful, odd round the edges and rooted in record culture rather than hype. Across the years, WOLF has helped bring through and release music from artists including Medlar, Greymatter, KRL, Session Victim, Bicep, Frits Wentink and plenty more, always with that unmistakable feeling of records picked by people who really live with the music.

Stu’s previous DeepDig sets at Grow have hit exactly the right spot. Patient, loose, groove-led and full of records that take a little longer to reveal themselves. The kind of set that builds naturally and keeps people locked in

Lenny is a London-based DJ and producer known for deep, groove-led selections that sit across the house and techno spectrum. The classic Detroit sound underpins Lenny’s style but the UK influences are clear, adding depth and gravitas. A long-time vinyl collector, he brings a refined, low-slung sound defined by well over two decades of digging and dedication. He co-runs the label and event series ill Fitted.

Expect deep house, chug, disco, boogie, warm low-end, slow burners and left-turn records from someone who knows how to stretch out properly. Five hours gives Stu the space to dig deep, build it with care and let the night move naturally from heads-down grooves into something heavier.

DeepDig is a night curated by Grow, that brings some of our favourite DJs and producers to play the sets that they don’t usually get to play at bigger venues and festivals. Expect lengthy, no-holds-barred DJ sets in intimate settings, where they have free rein to take the crowd in whatever direction they like.
