CRUX Audio-Visual Performance Showcase

Join us for the next of our performance showcase events for both established and emerging electronic music and video artists. Since 2014, Crux has been somewhere for the underground party scene (and its various creative practitioners) to have somewhere to meet-up. Different independent grassroots music venues across London have been used to create a space where you can meet likeminded people, learn about audiovisual production and be entertained - this time we're at New River Studios in north London, pushing sound and visuals forward in a raw, independent space.

Alien Alarms + Mouseonthetelly (Mandi Peers)

Alien Alarms combine poetry, prose, philosophy and found sounds with live, improvised generative rhythms, beat chopping and custom software to make music about love, loss, technology and society for the head, the feet and the heart.

VJ Mouseonthetelly (Mandi Peers) is a London-based video artist. The main areas she works in are either making music videos or playing live visuals at music events. In addition to this, she loves to experiment with the medium of video as an art form to express particular ideas. She can provide a good setup as a VJ when needed. She has her own VJ rig consisting of laptop, 3 x video mixers, DVD player, 4 projectors: 2 HD medium throw and 2 short throw projectors. Also, 2 screens, 2 tables, a barrier, and drapes.

LVA

Preslava Krasteva, aka “LVA”, is a Bulgarian independent electronic music artist, singer-songwriter, music producer and media composer. Her sound is a distinctive fusion of Dark Pop, Electronica, Cinematic, Neo-Soul, and Avant-Pop influences. LVA's music is defined by immersive soundscapes, dark drones, glitch-inspired textures, powerful belting vocals and the incorporation of traditional Bulgarian chants. LVA’s “Side FX” audio/visual experience incorporates bold political messages addressing issues related to the pornification of culture & society, the power of collective intelligence as well as the dangers of reactive futurism. In 2025, LVA was invited to support legendary UK electronic act Orbital during their Sofia show at Vidas Arena, marking a milestone performance and solidifying her presence on the international electronic music scene.
