For its first outing, Casa Slice lands at Nico’s Bar, Hackney Bridge, bringing together a handpicked circle of friends and close-circuit selectors for eight hours of sub-soulful expression. Think warm afternoons melting into hazy evenings. Records passed between friends. Deep grooves, soulful rhythms, loose-limbed house, funk, oddities and sounds that don’t always need a name. Music to move to, lean into, flirt through and occasionally lose yourself inside.
Made for the dancers, selectors, lovers, diggers and beautifully curious. A imitate space with pure motion, KSLICE and friends take turns on the dials, letting the day unfold naturally from sun-soaked session to late-summer sweat.
