Break Even and Philanthrobeats are joining forces this May to bring you a Sunday Day Party at The Bath House raising money for MAP!
Next month on Sunday the 17th we are very excited to share the dance floor with a very special lineup including…
Kisa, a London based DJ who’s lit up dancefloors across UK festivals like We Out Here and beyond on the international circuit. Blending soul, Latin, funk, broken beat and more, she has an instinct for rhythm and groove. Her sets keep bodies moving and spirits high.
Kamar is a Palestinian, Lebanese and British DJ and record collector dedicated to unearthing dance music from across the global diaspora. His Worldwide FM residency, Tealeaves, explores sound through migration, and his sets draw from Latin, Middle Eastern and African music traditions. He has played at We Out Here, The Jago, Night Tales Loft and Colour Factory, and is co-founder of the celebrated London night Far Corners. Expect a journey through global rhythms and rare grooves.
Closing the night as our headline is Roberta Cutolo. For over three decades Roberta has been an integral presence within London’s underground music culture. Whether broadcasting through her monthly shows on TWR and guest appearances on Soho Radio, or playing in revered listening environments such as Spiritland, Brilliant Corners, Caia, Bambi, NDR Rec, New Forms, 180 The Strand, 360 Netil, Café 1001, Hackney Grow, Jago, and Brixton Village, Roberta approaches music with care, patience, and respect. Roberta moves fluidly across genres from jazz spirituals into Brazilian rhythms, broken beats into deep soul creating a warm, immersive atmosphere.
Alongside fantastic music, we’re excited to feature contributions from local creatives across photography, videography, and visual art being showcased throughout the day.
A massive thank you to The Bath House for having us and helping raise as much money as possible for MAP.
Sunday 17th May 4-10:30pm
We look forward to seeing all you soon!
