LATE ONE!
GIANT STEPS is a travelling sound system and community from the team behind brilliant corners. It started its journey in 2017 to explore music through high fidelity sound in a intimate space that feels less like a club and more like a big house party.
The sound system is made up of a mix of high-end hifi and pro audio equipment we have collected, restored, and adapted over the years. It has hosted thousands of parties with some of the world's most revered DJs and record collectors, and travelled to many destinations. It also hosts a stage at Houghton Festival in Norfolk every year.
The sound system is currently in residence at The Bath House in Hackney Wick where we host parties every other Sunday 1600-2230 and occasionally late ones on a Saturday night 2100-0400.
We usually have one DJ play a long-set around 6-7 hrs long with vinyl records only. The music will often cross many different genres, tempos and time periods and will be a deeper exploration of the DJs musical taste.
