COMPUTER CLUB (v6.0)
An inclusive clubnight for live, technological music.
Computer Club brings their experimental club culture to Howard Assembly Room for v6.0 — six hours of live electronics, hardware improvisation, code, modular synthesis, experimental club music, immersive sound installations, and free, educational workshops.
Featuring:
20:00 - 21:00 — NikNak & Jameela (Dub Sirens) — DJ
Leeds favourites NikNak & Jameela join forces for a Dub Sirens b2b spanning jungle, dub, UK funky, bass music and experimental club sounds. NikNak brings expressive turntablism and cinematic storytelling, while Jameela’s tension-heavy blends and low-end selections keep things firmly rooted on the dancefloor.
21:00 - 22:00 — Jinjé — Live AV
Vessels co-founder Jinjé presents a one-hour hardware audiovisual set built from modular synthesis, drum machines and live electronics. Propulsive techno, breaks and deep analogue textures meet immersive visuals in a performance shaped by real-time improvisation.
22:00 - 23:00 — Danalogue — Live
The Comet Is Coming and Soccer96 synthesist Danalogue brings a Roland-drenched live set of acid, electro and cosmic machine music. Vintage synthesisers, raw basslines and constantly shifting sequences combine in a hands-on performance driven by analogue improvisation.
23:00 - 00:00 — Eye Measure — Live
Sheffield live-coder Eye Measure creates experimental digital noise music through code manipulated in real time. Industrial rhythms, unstable patterns and cavernous digital textures emerge from algorithmic systems that can mutate and unravel at any moment.
00:00 - 01:00 — TRSSX — Live
Glasgow’s TRSSX, co-founder of EXIT and Wodawater, brings modular industrial techno built from distorted rhythms, granular voices and corroded machine signals, blurring the boundaries between body music, experimental noise and uncompromising club pressure.
01:00 - 02:00 — nilehn — Live
Computer Club co-founder nilehn performs hardware-driven glitch, IDM and hypnotic techno. Fractured percussion, detailed digital textures and evolving rhythmic systems are shaped through live improvisation alongside reactive visuals.
Installation — First Floor Atrium
Jake Mehew — Chaotic Studies 04 — Quadraphonic sound installation
A spatial sound work built from feedback and rhizomatic networks, allowing signals to circulate, interact and transform across four speakers. Rather than following a fixed composition, Chaotic Studies 04 continually reorganises itself into an indeterminate and evolving sonic environment.
Free DJ Workshop
16:00–19:00 — Dub Sirens: DJ 101
Ahead of Computer Club v6.0, Dub Sirens will host a free three-hour DJ workshop on the ground floor of the Howard Assembly Room Bar.
Designed as an accessible introduction to DJing and open to all experience levels, the session will give femme-identifying people (trans+) dedicated access to DJ equipment, practical training and hands-on demonstrations from NikNak and Jameela.
Whether you have never touched a set of decks before or already have some experience and want to build your confidence, the workshop offers a supportive space to learn, experiment and ask questions.
The workshop is completely free to attend, and everyone who completes the session will receive a free ticket to Computer Club v6.0 that evening.
12 places only.
