World of Twist Party: Global Grooves All Night Long

World of Twist’s vinyl dance party is back at The Rum Shack, Southside, for a night of global groove heaters and shoulder shakers. Come heat up the floor as WoT residents How Bizarre and Jamo Kidd spin records from around the world all night long!

Expect both old and new rare groove rhythms and melodies from across the globe, featuring exotic textures and hypnotic percussion to get those feet moving and shoulders shaking.

We'll be digging out all the feel good numbers from far and wide, taking you on a journey through the motions of SWANA, and South and East Asian groove and psychedelia, to Bollywood, African Highlife, Brazilian Tropicalia, Colombian Cumbia, disco, into high-energy sounds of the club underground.

We like to keep the house party energy flowing...  a mix of ages, backgrounds, cultures and sounds, all under one roof.

Come as you are and let loose on the floor, everyone's welcome!

We’d love to see you there!
