About

GOTH / ITALO / POST-PUNK / DISCO / SYNTH

Everyone's fave queer goth night finally returns to the Art School for the first time in ten years! Join us down in the Vic for four hours of whatever we've been buying on Bandcamp recently, mixed in with everything you've ever wanted from the past 45 years of goth and italo-disco.

Sweets and free badges available at the cash desk. Seating available, venue and toilets accessible, smoke machine set to stunning.

Capacity is a wee bit smaller than the Duck and Stereo, so advance tickets may have to be limited!

ENTRY

Standard: £5 advance, £7 OTD

Trade Unionist: £3 advance, £5 OTD

Unwaged: £0

(GSA students: just pay what you feel you can based on the above)

Tickets on the door can be paid for by cash or card.

Access to the event is at the venue and cash desk’s discretion, even with a ticket, and this is subject to withdrawal at any time throughout the night. Please help keep our space safe for everyone.

ACCESSIBILITY

The venue is a ground floor venue, up a hill. There are no steps required to enter the venue, and all floors are accessible via a lift.

We will be using mostly low lighting and smoke machines, visibility may be limited. Audio levels should be loud enough to dance to, but low enough that you shouldn’t need to raise your voice to chat. If you need earplugs, please ask bar staff or DJs.

Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available.

Danse Macabre operates a strict safe space policy and will not tolerate bigotry of any kind. Anyone who feels uncomfortable, harassed, or in danger, should immediately come to the DJ booth, and a member of venue staff or security will be called if required.

Our full policy is available on our website.

The nearest railway station is Charing Cross, and the nearest Subway station is Cowcaddens. The area is served by a number of buses, and at weekends the Sauchiehall Street taxi rank is usually stewarded.

HEALTH

Please do not attend if you feel in any way unwell. There will be plenty of other nights! Black FFP2 masks available from the DJ booth.
