Some of The Hype so far:

"I am now in love with the beauties that are Sarah/Shaun" KATHRYN JOSEPH (Dunbar Music Fesitval, Sept '26)

"A band that’s been a pivotal part of my healing.... it (Dust Tears) tied straight into how I’ve been feeling, and how a lot of us feel more and more. It’s really something when an artist is that on the money and uses it for healing and acceptance. It’s not trying to give you an answer, other than what we all already know and need: connection, love, someone to talk to. 4.5/5" NORTHERN EXPOSURE (reviewing The Voodoo Rooms, Sept '26)

"For a band to be endorsed by David Holmes, Sonic Boom, Nadine Shah and Chvrches, to name but a few, then they must be on to something and tonight only confirms that. Sarah/Shaun should definitely be your new favourite band." SNACK MAG (reviewing The Voodoo Rooms, Sept '26)

"A visually captivating performance with singer Sarah McLachlan wowing the crowd with her stage presence, particularly given her outfit choice, donning a large cape, designed to look like wings. For a band that’s relatively unknown, they hold the crowd throughout, evoking contrasting comparisons with Goldfrapp and Beach House. SNACK MAG (reviewing Fringe by The Sea '26)

"Woozier moments could easily soundtrack a night in Twin Peaks’ Roadhouse... Tackling some pretty big topics, as crisp electronics, shimmering synths, scuffling drums and breathy vocals melt into one another." THE SKINNY

"A mellow musical light in the darkness. Terrific woozy dream pop" IAN RANKIN

‘F*cking lush’ NADINE SHAH

‘Beautiful sound’ IAIN COOK (Chvrches)

"The Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra of synthesized dream-pop... like a space-chartered St. Etienne" MONOLITH COCKTAIL

"Glorious, it (Debbie Harry) grabs hold of you and doesn't let go." RAVECHILD (Everyone Wants To Play The Hits Podcast)

"Absolutely beautiful" SEAN JOHNSTON (A Love From Outer Space)

"Vince clark Era Depeche Mode in places" KEVIN BALES (Spiritualized)

"Sounds cool. Well done" PETE KEMBER (Sonic Boom, Spacemen 3)

"Woozy pop" NEMONE (playing Dust Tears on BBC 6Music)

“Blending the starry-eyed pop of Sonny & Cher with the electronic experimentation of Chris & Cosey" THE LIST

"Beautifully formed dream-pop. Don't sleep!" PICCADILLY RECORDS

”Dealing in nostalgia, no bad thing at all.... They’re on to great things, definitely ones to watch” RODDY HART (BBC Radio Scotland)

“Starbed is folky, flavoured by pedal steel, cello, and brass. Dust Tears is a mini synth-pop rave epic. Part Bicep. Part Human League. Keep Your Eyes Closed like David Lynch’s Twin Peaks meets Cliff Martinez’s Drive score. It’s True What They Say, whose interwoven jangle and picking recalls New Order’s more introspective moments (Love Vigilantes, Love Less… ). Drums crashing, cathartic. Guitar raising dramatic arcs. Its chorus a rush, like a reprise of Pains Of Being Pure Of Heart’s ‘Higher Than The Stars’.” BAN BAN TON TON

“Sounds killer! Real emotion” DAVID HOLMES

"Nice one, very David Lynch meets Euro dream pop" YOUTH
