Deep Excursions (Daytime): Giles Smith & Telfort

Following on from Marcellus Pittman last month and Maurice Fulton in March, we're bringing things back to these shores for the final daytime party of the year.

Giles Smith is a DJ & producer who has been a key figure at the forefront of deep, roots inspired dance music in London for the last 25 years. Although now his own brand, he's best known as co-founder of Secretsundaze, one of London's best-loved and most consistent parties / DJ duos, and has played some of the best clubs in the world including Contact, Closer & Panorama Bar. As an all round top selector, he's known to blend a variety of styles including NYC / Chicago vocal tracks, raw Detroit house, broken beat, and boogie.

Joining him will be another classy operator Telfort, who made his first Deep Excursions appearance with a superb set at the Biscuit Factory alongside Domenic Cappello in 2022. Anyone who's been around the underground music scene in Edinburgh for any length of time will be familiar with Telfort whether it be through his long-standing residency at Sneaky Pete's, his self-founded record label TLFT or his legendary B2B sessions with Move D. Outside of Edinburgh, his talents have taken him to clubs including Golden Pudel and Robert Johnson as well as a residency at Field Maneuvers festival.
