Brighton's events cover a wide range of genres and formats. On a typical weekend, options include house and techno nights on the seafront, indie and rock gigs in the Lanes, drag shows in Kemptown, and electronic events in basement venues. The compact city centre means most events are walkable from each other. Brighton's LGBTQ+ events programme runs year-round, not just during Pride in August.
