Hidden Herd Presents:UGLY OZO

Blending raw vulnerability with electrifying hooks that demand attention, ugly ozo have rapidly become one of the most talked-about acts on the emerging indie landscape. Led by the ever-evolving vision of Jessica Baker (vocals/guitar), alongside Jessica’s sister Boo Baker (bass) and Tristan Northard (drums), their second EP, ‘dive’, marks a bold new chapter in their sonic diary, exploring the messy, unfiltered corners of the female experience. Featuring lead singles ‘hi, how are you?’, ‘overkill’ and ‘jackpot’, ugly ozo have been lauded across the press landscape by the likes of DIY Magazine, Dork Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Rough Trade and Notion. Primed to build on their momentum with a new collection of tracks that push their artistry further, the band have also received radio support from BBC Radio 6 Music’s Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq, Iggy Pop, Nathan Shepherd, Deb Grant, Chris Hawkins and Amy Lamé, as well as Radio X’s John Kennedy and KEXP’s Cheryl Waters. This year, ugly ozo sold out multiple dates, including their London headline show at the Sebright Arms, before making festival appearances at The Great Escape and Dot to Dot. They also supported REX RECS label-mates thistle. and later CQ Wrestling on their UK tours in May, before performing at Sŵn and Left of the Dial and touring across Europe.+ HIGHDRIVE+ Divorce Attorney+ SNM 18+
