Sound Service Station is a guided listening experience, hosted by Linga Sound.
An experienced selector will explore a genre / place / catalogue that is important to them, in a 90 minute deep listening session, with time for your questions.
The evening evolves into a DJ set, with space to move / dance / talk / commune.
Intimate, low capacity, cosy. Listening, learning, moving.

For the first of this autumn series, SSS welcomes Polish DJ and radio presenter, Kacper Pieta, who will be sharing from his collection of Japanese city pop.
City pop is a genre that emerged during the economic boom of the late 70s and early 80s in Japan, incorporating aspects of Western jazz, funk, yacht rock and disco with futuristic (for the time!) technology to develop a distinctly Japanese pop sound.
Kacper's reputation for deep cuts and carefully crafted sets has taken him everywhere from Japan to Spain and some of the most respected venues and festivals around the UK, sharing stages with the likes of Corto.Alto, Setwun and Aroop Roy. On a mission to bring people together through music, Kacper delivers smile-widening sessions featuring jazz funk, soulful house and the funkiest cuts from his native Poland, and has been putting that same energy into organising successful City Pop events across the UK.
