The Sheffield techno scene has been popping off with some sick parties new on the scene in the past couple of years so we’re getting together to blow the roof off Panke Social with a quadruple threat collab between Fixate, ALGORHYTHM, Alto and Shared Frequencies
== FIXATE ==
Fixate nights explore the energetic & party-focussed side of underground techno. Focused on maximum dancefloor intensity, we blend bouncy, fast-paced techno and hardgroove, always with a sharp focus on platforming Sheffields grassroots DJs.
Residents Move Elusive and Olorin go b2b for this one and Cimmerian joins us to roll out the bangers at 3am!
== ALTO ==
Alto is a party started in 2023 with prior background in underground music and related movements, mainly through free parties. They’ve recently hosted their 12th party since, with the latest being a party with Acid Techno record label, 303 Alliance.
Alto’s ethos is to create a special energy on the dancefloor, ensuring safe, inclusive and fun spaces. Alongside this, they ensure high quality soundsystems and selection of music, choosing to not to always focus on headliners, but to seek out local artists and utilise the skills of the residents.
Their resident Sam J will be representing Alto. Sam has a monthly slot on Kitchen Radio in Sheffield, as well as playing at many a local party, warehouse, festival, woodland and everywhere in between over the last 10+ years.
Sam’s focus is on Techno, exploring deeply in to the genre and the soundscapes he can create through it, with further inspiration and the utilisation of other genres such as Electro, Breakbeat and House
== SHARED FREQUENCIES ==
Shared Frequencies are the new kids on the block delivering top tier underground parties and free party energy over the past year. Tendara will be repping Shared Frequencies with plenty of quirky techno riddims and funky tunes
== ALGORHYTHM ==
With an emphasis on sound, space, and atmosphere, ALGORHYTHM is a raw core of Sheffield’s underground scene - delivering uncompromising, Berlin-inspired club experiences through low capacity parties with high fidelity sound. With a focus on quality over scale, their main event series has already brought some of the genre’s most forward-thinking artists to town, such as Alarico, Blawan, and JKS. On the 20th of June, ALGORHYTHM’s Harrison & Jaz are back to do what they do best - a high intensity closing set rooted in raw energy and hypnotic grooves
