Meet the bands:.
Headline:
Indie-punk upstarts Televised Mind found each other in the Lincoln music scene in early 2023 after instigator Ste had stumbled into songwriting during lockdown. Fast forward to 2026 and the boys have just recorded their second EP with the legendary Gordon Raphael (TheStrokes, The Cribs, The Libertines). Expect catchy hooks, unadulterated storytelling and lyrics that will get stuck in your head for days on end.
Main support:
Purple Dots is Ryan Felvus — a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from the north of England with a voice soaked in soul and a deep suspicion of the digital age. Long before releasing a single track, he laid a carpet for the Arctic Monkeys' guitarist — six months before they took off — and has since been quietly crafting a sound all his own.
His long-awaited debut album, due in 2025, is a lifetime in the making: raw, hypnotic, and soaked in northern grit. Sonically, it’s a swirling mix of psychedelic indie rock that channels the spirit of The Stone Roses, The Verve, Led Zeppelin, Wunderhorse, and Fontaines D.C.
Backing him in the studio is a heavyweight band:
Erroll Rollins (drums) – The Human League, The Haggis Horns, Corinne Bailey Rae
Joel White (keys) – Pulp, Finley Quaye, Hauge & White
Marcus Axlby (bass) – Boy on a Dolphin
This is music born of lived experience, analog grit, and defiant honesty. Purple Dots isn’t chasing the algorithm — he’s chasing transcendence.
