Public House Hi-Fi welcomes Smoove for a Friday night session above Gingerino’s.
A DJ, producer and remixer with deep North East roots, Smoove has built a sound around funk, soul, hip-hop, Latin, breaks, disco and club music. Through Smoove & Turrell, he helped take Northern Funk from Newcastle and Gateshead to stages and sound systems across the world.
His DJ sets carry that same wide-open energy. Heavy drums, soulful pressure, hip-hop attitude, funk breaks and records selected to move a room.
For Public House Hi-Fi, he joins us in the loft for a close-capacity Friday night session on our custom four-point audiophile sound system.
