This cultural showcase aims to celebrate the diversity of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University by bringing together international students, alumni, and event professionals. Through shared cultural experiences, the event will highlight the vibrant communities that make Manchester such a welcoming place to study and live.

Our Vision: To make Manchester feel like a home away from home, where international students are celebrated, recognised and included.

Mission: To bring together international and Manchester-based students through cultural experiences to build connections, provide comfort, and support recruitment and engagement. Our mission is also to deliver a welcoming and inclusive cultural event to support international students, ensuring they are recognised, valued, comfortable and feel at home while studying in Manchester, showcasing MMU’s commitment to diversity and positive student experiences.

By creating opportunities for connection and cultural exchange, the project seeks to support student engagement, strengthen community, and showcase the events industry within Manchester. At the same time, it highlights MMU’s commitment to diversity and to creating positive experiences for students from all around the world.
