On the 19th July, Bar Shrimp Manchester hosts the next edition of Toki-O Nights, a free to attend listening bar series inspired by Japan’s kissaten culture.
This instalment features Nik Weston. Nik has DJ's in over 30 countries and been involved in 120 releases since 2001. He plays 45's on the funk, soul, jazz, latin and Brazil tip and is one of the resident DJ's at SLST.
With hi-fi sound from Technics and Toki Highballs served throughout the evening, the event channels the slower, more intentional atmosphere of Japanese listening bar culture.
