Microcosmic's Manchester Mission launches with none other than Caldera, aka Loop LF, a producer and DJ whose diverse output on labels such as Well Street Records, Spacelab and Nummer, has been blowing our collective minds for several years now. His textured, earthy, dubby productions tick all our boxes, with meditative atmospheres sitting comfortably alongside rhythmic functionality, blurring genre lines of minimal, deep/dub techno and bass.
Support comes from Emora - a Bristol born Manchester DJ, who came on our radar after a classy opening set for K-Lone earlier this year. Her ear for deeper cuts with UK bass sensibilities will open the evening, with Microcosmic founder Opul closing shop.
renae's new upstairs sibling TOPP provides the perfect intimate setting and crisp soundsystem for our opening party.
