Boudica comes to Manchester
We've cultivated a beautiful community in London via our residency at FOLD, where we've hosted Boris, Nene H, I. JORDAN, Juliana Huxtable, and collectives Gegen, INFERNO and many more. As we continue to run our parties at FOLD, it's also time to spread our wings.
This year, we're heading up North. Different club, different city, but our values remain the same: elevating FLINTA+ artists and creating a welcoming and safe space for the LGBTQ+ community.
We're so excited to have Bollibubbles on our lineup. An icon in every way, the Manchester-based diva whips up Chicago-rooted sounds, disco shimmer, afro heat, and gospel lift aka "it's rave romantic c*nt and lipstick on a subwoofer." Bubblegum energy with a steel heel.
caonix joins us too. Building high-energy sets laced with groove and flow, the Manchester-based DJ and producer is the co-founder of the city's queer rave RUNWAY and was recently named one of BCCO’s "New Faces". An undeniable presence in Manchester's electronic music scene, we're so happy to have them play for us.
Boudica founder Samantha Togni completes the bill. The Italian-born, London-based artist has just announced her debut album 'The Meaningless Beautiful' dropping on June 26th via Boudica Records. In the middle of touring the album, hosting FLINTA+ DJ workshops, curating events, and making music, she's all set to sprinkle some Boudica magic at The DBA in May.
