Four years. Four crews. Four DJs each.
We started this in 2022 with a handful of friends, a courtyard, and an idea that a pub in Cheetham Hill could maybe be our home. Four years on, we’re celebrating the way it deserves — by inviting the crews who’ve helped shape the DBA into what it’s become.
FRIXXXION feat. @james_locks_ @vindya @kuriboh.cb @lazlo______xx
Born in 2022 by Blasha & Allatt, Manchester’s most beloved queer techno devotees. Purposed, as the saying goes, for the pleasure-seeking and the damn right nasty. From DBA courtyard throwdowns to secret warehouse all-nighters, they don’t do things by halves.
HØL feat. @dj.charleybolton @caonix_ @ein_kbl @inlimen__
An inclusive techno collective born out of the Prague underground, rooted right here in the North West. From all-nighters at the DBA to headline slots with Blame The Mono at 1520, they platform local talent alongside some of the most respected names in the game.
TRANCEFORM feat. @phia_sky_ @fastlove____ @daisyhoszowskyj @natalia.lp___
Bringing high-gloss trance and peak-time euphoria to the Strange Quarter since day one. They’ve held down their own room at DBA NYE, brought the sunshine with Climaxxx while fundraising for the PAʻI Foundation, and proven that trance has a home in Manchester.
BENT HEDONISM feat. @esmetrax @kijeal @davidjames.bent @jasejeffery
Four years deep at the DBA. Queer-led, community-driven, uncompromising. From the Colombian queer techno of BULTO, to the fluid house of Juan Ramos and a record label in between. This is where it started. This is where we celebrate.
12 hours. Three dance floors. All four pillars.
