Annexia presents another evening of progressive electronics. Spanning the gamut of warped dance, spoken word, guitar noise and dreary power electronics. As always, limited capacity.

Nic Krog is a musician and sound artist whose signature is a volatile blend of bass-heavy club music intertwined with subversive sound art and diaristic spoken word. Their work deals with themes of isolation, identity, and transformation.
With the release of the audio play “Perfect Pattern” (Psychic Liberation, 2025), Krog focused in on a raw and self-aware kind of sonic self-portraiture, taking cues from 20th century experimental music, 90s queer house tracks, and the storytelling style of soap operas and Jean-Luc Godard’s “Le Mépris”, resulting in something all their own.
Afraidofmessages (AOM) is a solo project of Sonja Aguilar, guitarist and vocalist of no wave, noise rock band BRAK. Through her solo work, she redefines classical instrumentation, using the guitar as her primary source. With experimental techniques and a variety of percussive tools, AOM draws out a range of abstract tones and textures from a single instrument, complemented by synthesizers that add depth and harmonize tonal extremes, moving between harshness and tenderness. A fusion of contrasting elements that challenges genre conventions and invites listeners into a space where softness and intensity coexist.
Cannon is a solo power electronics project based in Manchester. They just released their debut tape on the legendary Natural Sciences label. Caustic noise infused with a sincere emotionality and pathos. After a blistering performance at Cafe Blah recently, it was only right I got Cannon on an Annexia lineup.
