On the 29th July, Equal Parts in Hackney hosts the next edition of Toki-O Nights, a free to attend listening bar series inspired by Japan’s kissaten culture.
This instalment features Scott Pelloux. Scott is an East-London based DJ and record collector associated with the record store VDS (Vinyl Delivery Service). He spins a wide, eclectic mix of Jazz, Ambient, Funk, and Electronic music.
With hi-fi sound from Technics and Toki Highballs served throughout the evening, the event channels the slower, more intentional atmosphere of Japanese listening bar culture.
