On the 22nd July, Equal Parts hosts the next edition of Toki-O Nights, a free to attend listening bar series inspired by Japan’s kissaten culture.
Up next is Ayana Homma. Ayana is a Japanese vocalist, selector, and cultural curator who has become part of London's growing community connecting Japanese and UK music scenes. Having created the first international branch of Jazzy Sport with fellow selector Nina Yamada, Ayana's eclectic music taste builds warm, organic sets rooted in rhythm and musicianship.
With hi-fi sound from Technics and Toki Highballs served throughout the evening, the event channels the slower, more intentional atmosphere of Japanese listening bar culture.
