Crèche: 'A Trip' is a new, intimate sub-series rooted in long-form DJ sets, smaller rooms, and real connection - a return to the kind of parties Shoreditch was built on.
Each A Trip centres around Alexis Raphael inviting a guest to take the room on an extended journey. One guest, one long stretch of time — three to four hours to build properly, explore freely, and let the music breathe.
For the first edition, the guest is Soul Clap.
Soul Clap are woven into the history of modern house music. Responsible for some of the most defining tracks of an era, their sound shaped dancefloors across the world. Now reunited and fully back in motion, they return with the depth, soul and playfulness that made those records timeless in the first place.
This is about returning to roots — not just musically, but geographically. Light Bar is a true Shoreditch institution: intimate, characterful, and steeped in dancefloor history. A space that rewards patience, curiosity, and shared moments.
