Susobrino’s ultimate one-man band meets hellotones’ PueblaYork DJ vibes in SUSONIDOS
Born in Bolivia and now based in Brussels, Susobrino makes his highly anticipated live debut in the UK. Blending acoustic and electronic textures, his sounds move through cumbia, reggaeton, Latam club music and bolero.
As Susonidos, he’s been behind block parties and club nights all over Europe. For this special live set, Susobrino becomes a true one-man band, weaving together keys, guitar, flute, drum pads, and vocals. This is not just a performance but a full visual show, with his signature scenography of a red-and-white striped canopy that reminds us of the spirit of ferias and food stalls – spaces of gathering, warmth, and all the good vibes.
Joining him as co-headliner is hellotones, “El hijo de PueblaYork,” a Bronx-born DJ celebrating the global sound of cumbia. Drawing from his Mexican heritage and New York upbringing, his sets fuse the pulse of traditional cumbia with the energy of hip hop and East Coast club culture.
What started in post-Baptism church basement celebrations, where he was first exposed to the sub-shaking rhythms of Cumbia in his youth, has turned into a journey from underground parties he built himself to iconic stages like SOB’s, Elsewhere, Lincoln Centre, and even Times Square, consistently pushing the genre into new spaces and audiences.
Together, these two artists bring a powerful wave of Latin American sound.
