DEBUT LIVE AV Performance from RED ORANGE & BLU

RED ORANGE & BLU is the brainchild of Rob—a new exploration of his original productions, modular synthesis, samples and audiovisual experimentation.

The project follows more than a decade of creating lighting and visual shows for electronic music, working with a wide range of artists across clubs, venues and festivals, including fabric, Village Underground, Jazz Cafe and E1.

Inspired by that experience, RED ORANGE & BLU brings sound, lighting and visuals together as one complete live performance. Musically, the project sits beneath the broad house and techno umbrella, while drawing on Rob’s early influences from rock, trip-hop and dub.

The Strobe Soundsystem founder brings a fusion of dub reggae inspired techno together with his recent live techno DRUMPRAYER releases.

Previously engineering in Live AV for many artists and labels including Anjunadeep, DJ Pierre, Adam Port, Marco Carolla, Bob Sinclair, Mark Knight, Deborah De Luca, Royksopp, Sven Vath, Ellen Alien, Fatima Hajji, Nicole Moudaber, Lehar, Chance The Rapper, Guy Manzur A Guy Called Gerald, Dekmantel, Jay Lumen, Seth Troxler and Hot Since 82 amongst a few in lighting, VJ and AV over the last decade informs his personal productions.

Davinci - LIVE AV (Electro/2Step/Techno/Dub Techno)

Coming from the industrial, post-communist region of southern Poland, he blends heavy percussion against an experimental metallic backdrop and psychedelic melodies. Vanio became interested in techno music at the age of just 9, thanks to the evening electronic broadcasts on Radio Planeta. He recorded these onto cassettes and edited them to create mixtapes of his favorite sounds. Over time, as media formats shifted to CDs, Dawid bought his first mixer and CD players, going on to host events at the iconic INQBATOR club, as well as perform alongside the biggest electronic music artists in Poland. Mixing music evolved into a passion for synthesis, sound production, and audio-visual experiences.
