RA and Nike present TRANSPORTAL

Resident Advisor and Nike present TRANSPORTAL, a new dimension for spatial art and club culture.

TRANSPORTAL is a two-part, day-and-night programme at UNLOCKED in Shoreditch to mark the release of Nike's new LiquidMax shoe. By day, the venue will host an immersive audiovisual installation and panel discussion, and by night, it's down to the basement club.

TRANSPORTAL by Day: 1 PM - 7 PM

TRANSPORTAL by Night: 10 PM - 3 AM

In the afternoon, we're excited to debut Soft Infrastructures, a new work by the incredible Tom Schneider, a scenographer whose credits span everyone from Arca and horsegiirL to Balenciaga and Carhartt WIP. Soundtracked by Crystallmess and inspired by LiquidMax, Schneider's piece will be a fully immersive experience that invites you and your mates to stick around and soak it all up.

UNLOCKED will be open from 1 PM, and there'll be an END. pop-up on-site where you can cop a pair of LiquidMax—a week ahead of the official release date.

At 6 PM, the panel, moderated by Lea Ogunlami, will explore the intersections of electronic music, fashion and art, and how each informs the other. The panelists will be Schneider, Lauren Duffus and 3stacks.

TRANSPORTAL by Night begins at 10 PM. Inspired by the innovation behind LiquidMax's biomorphic, hyper-sensory design, the party brings musicians and visual artists together to push their work into new territory.

DJ, producer and founder of enduring club night Trance Party, the trailblazing Evian Christ is our headliner. Expect a bonkers whirlwind through trance and beyond.

Iglooghost, whose intricate and otherworldly sets embrace all manner of futuristic electronic sounds, will have visuals by interdisciplinary designer Elliott Elder, while Crystallmess, known for her vivid Afrofuturist club music, is joined by artist Itohan.

Angel D'Lite will pair up with the design studio AVVA: two Field Maneuvers favourites bringing their ravey palette to the UNLOCKED basement. Rounding out the lineup is the excellent Lauren Duffus, joined by self-confessed "LED screen fanatic" 3stacks doing a live audiovisual show.

TRANSPORTAL is free to attend, but capacity is limited. We're expecting it to be busy, so please get down early and ensure you have a valid nighttime ticket. Please note RSVP doesn't guarantee entry.

During the day, any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

The venue will be closed between 7 PM and 10 PM.

Attendees to the nighttime event must be 21 or over. Please note the event will contain strobe lighting and flashing effects.
