Two Tribes Campfire
Unit 13
Ragdoll Rhythms land at Two Tribes Brewery this September for one final open-air session before summer disappears.
House, tech house, bass, techno and electro soundtracking those last few hours of sunlight, powered by a Funktion-One system and a lineup that likes to colour outside the lines. Expect tropical rhythms, rolling grooves, bass weight and plenty of left turns.
Joining the bill, Lorenita started in 2012 with a monthly night at Three Blind Mice focusing on dancehall and related genres. She returns from hiatus with a borderless approach shaped by years spent exploring everything from, reggaeton and cumbia to UK funky, highlife, zouk and disco.
El.bo arrives fresh from Lost Groove Festival, bringing electro, techno and UKG with the same relentless energy she applies to life as a serious team cyclist.
Magic Beef, a familiar face from the front of countless Ragdoll dancefloors, finally steps behind the decks with a sound spanning spacey techno, UK bass, breakbeats and synth-led curveballs, expect big basslines and melodic vocals.
Returning to the fold after two Ragdoll Planet Wax appearances is Tees, whose thoughtful selections move through house, tech house, techno and progressive breaks, always with one eye on the dancefloor and enough stamina to make even his half marathon times look like a warm-up.
Holding things together are the hosts Sands Spheric and EDFX, the Ragdoll co-founders known for joining the dots between electro, techno, bass and leftfield club music without ever losing sight of the groove. Two Tribes marks a new venture following their Ragdoll shows at Venue MOT, The Greyhound, Planet Wax and more, whilst both have monthly shows with Aaja Radio.
Come for the sunshine. Stay for the sweat.
