We’re hitting mid-August with full force, bringing a heavy-duty three-way collaboration to the iconic Steam Room at FOLD. London’s Rebloom, Bristol’s The Probe, and international powerhouse System Revival are joining forces for a special summer showcase: Probe. Rebloom. Revival.
First up, the legendary Peter Van Hoesen is returning to London. An absolute icon of the techno scene, Peter is globally revered for his bass-heavy, abstract, and deeply immersive sound design. Whether through his pioneering labels like Time To Express or his spellbinding hybrid improvised sets that have graced seminal clubs like Tresor, he has consistently pushed the boundaries of underground electronic music. As a longtime resident at Japan’s hallowed Labyrinth festival, he knows exactly how to craft a hypnotic narrative. He returns to FOLD for an extended set, for the first time since his unforgettable live performance back in November 2025, making his highly anticipated return to the booth truly unmissable.
And then there is Lynne, a phenomenal Japanese artist who effortlessly commands the grey space between techno, experimental, and drum 'n' bass. A resident of Astral Industries and Unknown Species, Lynne is known for building intricate, ominous, and deeply rhythmic atmospheres that have torn up dancefloors at international underground hubs like Tokyo's Contact and Unit, and Seoul's Vurt. Lynne is a familiar face to the family, having previously played for Rebloom alongside Agonis and Bas Dobbeleaer, at The Probe with dnb legend Carrier, and contributed a standout mix to the Bloom Loops podcast series. Fresh off a legendary closing set at the Hypnus event in the main room at FOLD last year, her return to the venue promises to be nothing short of mesmerizing.
Rounding off the lineup are Rebloom and The Probe head honchos, JJ and Jay Galligan. Coming together for their very first back-to-back set, the two curators will be blending their deep underground roots. JJ has graced the dancefloor of London mainstays like Ormside Projects, FOLD, Venue MOT and Carpet Shop - whilst running ambient events at Sauna Social Club and Club Cheek. Jay is Bristol based, and a resident at both The Island and Strange Brew, and has delivered standout sets at festivals like Springkell and Ireland's Open Ear. Together, they are well versed in driving a crowd. Expect a wild journey that weaves together deep, hypnotic techno with heavy UK bass and jungle inflections. A perfect way to close off the night with a cosmic bang.
