Catch us at AAJA on 17 of July for a 2 room takeover, alongside a very special production deep dive.
Bringing the one and only awhlkuhn for a UK debut!
awhlkuhn is an Amsterdam-Based Producer, Vocalist & DJ who strives to mix the diverse sonic textures he was exposed to in his childhood to help redefine what it means to be part of a diaspora. His focus is his self-created genre named ‘Kamra’: blending deeply earthy West Indian rhythms and percussive sounds with glitchy electronic textures reminiscent of the early days of Midwestern House & Techno.
We have DKAY back after an insane set with us last time, bringing his signature blend of Afro Lusophone sounds like Batida and Kuduro with London's underground energy.
Also joining are residents SCARBA and Pxmp who strive on blending different sonic worlds from Caribbean to UK, Afro Lusophone sounds and more.
Expect a lot of Caribbean Techno, Batida, Kuduro, Dennery Segment and more
Production workshop:
awhlkuhn will be breaking down some of his popular tracks including Mati, Eye Contact, and the recent track produced for our first compilation.
Funds from the workshop will go towards the artist obtaining a piece of music gear. Workshop ticket includes club night. Limited to 10pax
There's also going to be a Listening Session of our upcoming release PAT002 by an unannounced artist who will be there too (hint- it's Batida)
