Miles Away at Bricks

We’re celebrating 7 years of Miles Away Records – and doing what we do best: blowing all our money on a proper good party.

For the occasion, we head south to Bricks in Brixton – a newly refurbished 250-capacity space in the heart of Brixton, complete with a seriously good soundsystem.

Joining us are two firm Miles Away favourites:

Marcia Carr – a true legend of the UK scene. A vinyl aficionado with over four decades behind the decks, Marcia’s sets are rich, soulful journeys spanning house, disco, Afro, broken beat, jazz and beyond. A dancer at heart, her selections are deep, uplifting and full of feeling. She’s played everywhere from Fabric and The Jazz Cafe to We Out Here and Southport Weekender, and remains one of the most respected selectors in the game.

LEV – one of the most exciting names of the next generation. Known for her deep, groove-led sets, LEV blends soulful house, disco and beyond with a knowledge far beyond her years. A regular at Glitterbox and Southport Weekender, she’s shared bills with Kerri Chandler and Louie Vega and continues to build serious momentum both in the UK and internationally.

Plus Miles Away’s Dom Ore will also be DJing on the night.
