Lab.Club & The Faded Community will be hosting monthly free open decks in the heart of Shoreditch.
In May 2026, we teamed up with the Back2Back DJ Battle crew for a community-driven night celebrating spontaneity, collaboration and the art of DJing.
Want to test your skills against the other DJs and experience the Back2Back culture?
This is an open deck event with a twist: DJs sign up on the night to get randomly paired in a 30-minute Back2Back set.
[HOW IT WORKS]
All attendees must get a free ticket (DJ or just dancing)
Bring ID to be checked by security
Sign up for a DJ slot on arrival using the QR code
DJs are randomly paired by the host
Pairings are made with genre compatibility in mind
Each duo plays 30 minutes, transitioning after 2 songs each
Genre compatibility doesn’t mean identical styles, blending different sounds is encouraged. However, to ensure a strong flow and a great experience for both DJs and the crowd, certain heavier or more niche genres won’t be paired together (for example, hard techno with Afro house).
OPEN MEANS OPEN: We welcome anything from house, techno, breaks, electro, minimal, garage and beyond. It all depends on who signs up so tell your mates!

Anyone, whether you're a seasoned selector or a bedroom DJ ready to play out. Or you don't have to DJ to attend, come to dance, discover new music and connect.
This night is about community, creativity and shared energy behind the decks.
